Wilfred Ngwa, Ph.D., M.Sc., is a Program Manager at ARPA-H with training in physics and biophotonics, holding a Ph.D. in Physics and an M.Sc. in Biophysics. He completed postdoctoral and clinical training in radiotherapy at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Harvard Medical School, and has served on the faculty at Harvard and Johns Hopkins. His expertise spans medical physics, imaging, oncology, nanomedicine, AI, and global health. Dr. Ngwa has also held leadership roles including chair and editorial board service for scientific journals and advising the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. At ARPA-H, he develops programs in smart radiotherapy, immunotherapy, quantum medicine, and low-cost technologies aimed at making healthcare more affordable and accessible.
