The Southeastern Quantum Conference (SQC) is an annual invitation-only event that brings together leaders and experts from DOE national laboratories, facilities, universities, and industry to share breakthroughs and tackle the open challenges shaping the future of quantum computing.

SQC returns with a program focused on cross-cutting research at the intersection of Quantum Networking, Quantum Computing, Quantum Sensing, Quantum Materials, and National Security.

Hosted by Oak Ridge National Laboratory, this year’s conference brings together leaders from academia, national laboratories, and industry to share breakthroughs, build partnerships, and accelerate the quantum ecosystem in alignment with the Department of Energy’s Genesis Mission.

What to expect at SQC:

• Cross-Disciplinary Connections – Researchers and technologists collaborating across quantum, AI, materials, networking, and cybersecurity.

• Breakthrough Science & Technology – Emerging research and innovations shaping the future of quantum capabilities.

• From Lab to Real-World Impact – Translating discovery into applications across science, industry, and national security.

• Pathways to Deployment – Advancing scalable solutions and addressing real-world implementation challenges.

• A Growing Quantum Community – Engaging sessions, posters, and networking that spark lasting collaborations.
