The 2027 Position Sensetive Neutron Detectors Conference is being held at the UT Conference Center in beautiful downtown Knoxville, Tennessee!

PSND 2027 brings together researchers from neutron facilities, universities, and industry to discuss the latest advances in position sensitive neutron detector technologies and their applications. The conference provides a forum for presenting new developments in detector materials, electronics, data acquisition, signal processing, and neutron instrumentation while fostering collaborations across the international neutron science community.

Registrants will be able to attend three full days of technical talks and posters in addition to tours of both of Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s neutron scattering facilities, the High-Flux Isotope Reactor and the Spallation Neutron Source.

Topics:
– Scintillator detectors and neutron sensitive scintillators
3He or 10B based gas detectors
– Neutron imaging detectors
– Semiconductor detectors
– Front- and back-end electronics
– Novel signal processing, position reconstruction and machine learning techniques
– Detectors for fast neutrons
– Simulations
– Neutron applications
