Dr. Aanchal Kohli has nearly a decade of experience working on hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) climate policy at the California Air Resources Board (CARB). Aanchal currently manages a team of scientists in the HFC Reduction Program at CARB, the nation’s strongest climate program on HFCs. Aanchal oversees the development and implementation of many of California’s HFC policies and regulations, and leads a fluorinated gas reduction incentive program with a $66 million budget. Her work has resulted in millions of tons of greenhouse gas emissions reductions in California and billions of dollars in public health benefits. Aanchal has an educational background in mechanical engineering and environmental science.
