Aristeidis Tsaris is a research scientist at the National Center for Computational Sciences at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where he has worked since 2019 as a research scientist in Large-Scale Data Science and Learning. He holds a Ph.D. in medium-energy particle physics from Florida State University. During his doctoral studies, he conducted research at Jefferson Lab, and he completed a postdoctoral appointment in the Scientific Computing Division at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, focusing on deep learning applications in physics. His current research centers on scalable scientific machine learning on leadership-class HPC systems, AI foundation models for science, and deep learning for computer vision.
