Oral presentations are conducted without concurrent sessions to facilitate cross\u2013discipline discussion among experts in various specialties of separation science. A poster session, structured less formally, is a featured social event and awards prizes for best student contributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SST Program Committee announces a Call for Abstracts early in the symposium year and seeks papers that illustrate new ideas, describe novel applications, identify newly recognized needs, or generate lively technical discussions on topics of separation science.
