22nd Symposium on Separation Science and Technology for Energy Applications
When
November 03 – 06, 2025
Where
Oak Ridge National Laboratory
SNS Auditorium
Separation Science and Technology for Energy Applications symposia focus on key separations in developing energy-efficient processes and sustainable energy resources and systems. The conferences are biennial events that attract international participation. Our venue for the 2025 meeting is Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Oral presentations are conducted without concurrent sessions to facilitate cross–discipline discussion among experts in various specialties of separation science. A poster session, structured less formally, is a featured social event and awards prizes for best student contributions.
The SST Program Committee announces a Call for Abstracts early in the symposium year and seeks papers that illustrate new ideas, describe novel applications, identify newly recognized needs, or generate lively technical discussions on topics of separation science. Authors selected for conference presentation (both oral or poster session) are eligible to submit full manuscripts for inclusion in publication of our Special Proceedings Issue in a refereed journal.
