Oak Ridge National Laboratory

Lora Wolfe has been a dedicated member of Oak Ridge National Laboratory since 1994, bringing over three decades of experience in high-level administrative support across several key divisions. She began her career as a Group Administrative Assistant in the Robotics Division and later served as the Division Administrative Assistant in the Computer Science and Mathematics Division. In both roles, she provided essential support to research teams and division leadership, gaining deep insight into ORNL’s mission and operations.

In May 2018, Lora was appointed Executive Assistant for the Exascale Computing Project (ECP), a major Department of Energy initiative aimed at developing the next generation of high-performance computing. In this role, she worked closely with senior project leadership, managing executive-level communications, coordinating logistics for large-scale collaborations, and ensuring smooth administrative operations.

Her leadership and expertise led to her promotion in June 2022 to Executive Assistant for the Computing and Computational Sciences Directorate (CCSD). In this position, Lora supports the Associate Laboratory Director and CCSD leadership team, playing a key role in coordinating strategic initiatives, managing complex scheduling and communications, and facilitating cross-directorate activities.
