Dr. Troy Carter is the Director of the Fusion Energy Division at ORNL, where he leads efforts in plasma physics, fusion materials, and technologies, including ORNL’s contributions to ITER and the MPEX project. Prior to joining ORNL, he was a professor at UCLA for over two decades and directed key national plasma research facilities.
