NEDRA HURLEY is Senior Vice President of Business Development at Southwire, where she leads the company’s strategy to deepen partnerships with strategic end users, particularly in the large-load data center and power generation markets. In this role, she focuses on aligning Southwire’s commercial coverage and plant capacity to support accelerated design cycles and growth in an increasingly dynamic energy landscape.
Nedra brings more than 24 years of experience in the energy industry, most recently serving as Vice President, Eastern Region Utility Accounts for ABB Electrification’s U.S.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University and a Master of Science in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering with a concentration in engineering management from Cleveland State University. Nedra is also Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certified.
Outside of work, Nedra is an accomplished endurance athlete, having completed more than 50 half marathons and three full marathons. Nedra and her husband, Michael, a general contractor, live in Kernersville, North Carolina, where they enjoy life with their blended family and two granddaughters. Their shared commitment to caregiving and community involvement remains central to their lives.
