Justin Hill is a Principal Research Engineer in Southern Company’s Energy Storage & Use R&D organization. His research focuses on developing and implementing new technologies that enable buildings to be more efficient and interact with the grid, along with developing valuation models for them. He has been in this current role since 2012.
An Alabama native, Justin holds BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama and a PhD in Interdisciplinary Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Alabama.
