After the workshop, presenters will have the option to share a PDF of their presentation on the website. Conference organizers will share a release form for signature and collate presentations, and have the sharable presentations posted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How are speakers selected?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A Program Committee determines the workshop topics and speakers each year, considering the latest developments and issues of interest to the MSR community. However, as MSR research and activity increases, there is more to discuss than can be reasonably highlighted during the main program! This is a good problem to have, so the lightning talks and poster session signups were added to provide more participation opportunities. Please reach out to the General Chair to propose topics and talks for 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why is there a registration fee and what does the fee cover?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The workshop is run under a cost-recovery approach where registration fees and sponsorships offset the event costs, e.g., meals, venue, IT equipment, and IT operators. Meals include 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 1 dinner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are the cancellation and refund details?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Workshop fees are refundable, until a specified cut-off date, and are subject to a transaction fee of $50. Please review the registration form for details. Please use the Contact page on the event website to request a cancellation of your registration. If you need to cancel your hotel reservations, please reach out to the hotel to cancel a reservation within 72 hours before the check-in date or the hotel may charge the credit card one night\u2019s room fee plus any applicable taxes. No-shows will forfeit the first night room revenue for the dates of the reservation. For questions or clarifications, please contact the hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sign-ups are open for three optional tour opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please Note:<\/u> You must be registered for the MSR Workshop to sign up for the tours.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sign-ups will remain open until the available slots are full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday’s tours are at the same time. You can only sign up for one tour on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please be advised that we are unable to add attendees to tours at the time of check\u2011in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Logistics and Requirements:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      ORNL Site Access:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Tours at ORNL require site access approval, which is not guaranteed. For site access, non-US citizen\/legal permanent resident attendees will be contacted to provide additional information. Failure to provide this information in a timely manner will result in your withdrawal from the tour(s). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Transportation:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Destinations are approximately 40-60 minutes away from the event venue and include walking over uneven ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Buses will transport attendees to the designated tour location(s) and return them to the Marriott. All participants are required to travel to\/from the tours via the buses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Dress Code:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Long pants and closed-toed shoes are required for the tours. Safety glasses will be provided if required. Visitors may be denied participation if footwear or clothing is deemed potentially unsafe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Food and Drinks:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      No food or drink is allowed during the tours; please leave these items on the bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Photos and videos by participants are not allowed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
