Shaun S. Gleason

Dr. Shaun Gleason is an experienced senior leader of science and technology organizations with a focus on research and development, innovation, technology transfer, leadership development, and education. He is currently the director of the Partnerships Office at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, responsible for mission areas including technology transfer, commercialization, economic development, industry and non-DOE partnerships, and research security. He has 34 years of service at the laboratory across three different directorates (Energy Science and Technology, Computing and Computational Sciences, and National Security Sciences). Gleason also has experience as R&D staff, a group leader, director of Institutional Planning, R&D division director (for two different divisions), and interim associate laboratory director for Computing and Computational Sciences. Gleason also served as the director of ORNL’s Science-Security Initiative Integration.
