Jerry Halley is the former chief engineer for Tech Manufacturing, LLC, in Wright City, Missouri. Now part of the ADDMAN Group, Tech Manufacturing specializes in complex five-axis-machined aluminum and titanium structural components for the aerospace industry. Halley and his former partners purchased the company from its founding family in 2003 and more than tripled its size during their ownership. As a partner and full-time manager, Halley led technology development and the implementation of processes that improved the company’s products and manufacturing capabilities. Halley previously worked for McDonnell Douglas and Boeing, where he served as principal investigator for high-speed machining development in St. Louis. This work helped transform the design and manufacturing of lightweight, monolithic aircraft structures, producing significant weight reduction and cost savings.
