Jason Bischell

Jason Bischell leads Tennessee Valley Authority’s (TVA) hydro turbine program which defines the maintenance and operational standards for TVA’s hydro turbine fleet. His responsibilities extend to engineering tasks and troubleshooting, addressing technical challenges to maintain optimal plant conditions. Bischell is involved in capital projects that require comprehensive unit disassembly; this includes overseeing turbine refurbishments and replacements. TVA’s turbine program identifies and implements new technologies that can be used to maximize reliability, and efficiency, and increase the service life of powertrain equipment.
