Chris Allison has over 10 years of experience supporting GKN Aerospace’s manufacturing technology development for aerostructures. He currently leads strategy and product development of Laser Metal Deposition – wire (LMD-w) Additive Manufacturing technology for defense aerostructure applications. His experience includes leading GKN’s LMD-w development team in the U.S. from initial equipment integration through process development to product development and application. Allison has also worked to support the development of other metallic technologies including friction stir welding, automation, and machining.
