Bob Slattery

Bob Slattery is the manager of industrial collaborations for the Department of Energy’s Manufacturing Demonstration Facility (MDF) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He facilitates collaboration with equipment manufacturers, material suppliers, and end users to improve existing and emerging additive systems and revolutionize how products are designed and built. Slattery supports the MDF in providing industry with affordable and convenient access to infrastructure, tools, and expertise to facilitate rapid adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies. His previous roles as a mechanical engineer, program manager, and business development manager have built his expertise in developing ceramic and polymer materials and improving manufacturing processes.
