Amir Ziabari

Dr. Amir Koushyar Ziabari is a senior R&D staff scientist in the Multimodal Sensor Analytics group within the Electrification and Energy Infrastructure division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.  He is currently working on data analytic, data driven and physics-based image reconstruction and segmentation for advanced manufacturing (AM) to improve non-destructive evaluation and the state-of-the-art in real time monitoring of the AM process. Ziabari is also leading several projects on developing foundational inverse problem models and computational imaging algorithms for image analysis and reconstruction in multi-modal, multi scale scientific imaging, including electron microscopy, electron tomography, X-ray and neutron CT. Previously Ziabari was a postdoc at Purdue University.
