Hesham Khalifa

Dr. Khalifa is the director of materials acceleration and innovation at General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems. He has 20 years of experience in development and deployment of materials for extreme environments like terrestrial and space nuclear systems, and hypersonics. Khalifa’s expertise is in managing multidisciplinary technical teams and interfacing across different industry and government entities to mature and implement advanced material technologies. His specialties include advanced materials manufacturing, chemical vapor deposition and infiltration, preceramic polymer synthesis and ceramic conversion and manufacturing efficiency.
