Yann LePape

Dr. Yann Le Pape leads nuclear infrastructure and deployment operations at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. As a distinguished scientist, he focuses on research and development in concrete aging, characterization, and advanced modeling. At ORNL, Le Pape also served as a senior scientist specializing in concrete and civil structures and was a team lead for research in concrete structure aging for the Department of Energy’s Light Water Reactor Sustainability (LWRS) Program, Material Pathway, and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. He was ORNL’s senior consultant assigned in France to lead concrete structures research for the LWRS Program, Material Pathway. Prior to joining ORNL, he was a project manager for the Electric Power Research Institute. He has held a joint faculty appointment in the Civil and Engineering Department of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and was an adjunct associate professor in the Civil Engineering Department at the University Paris-Est Créteil.
