Jonathan Lomas is a Senior Principal Engineer with GE Vernova Gas Power Engineering, focused on solving complex engineering challenges across the Advanced Manufacturing and Repair Technology (AMRT) organization. His work spans additive manufacturing, joining, machining, inspection, robotics, coatings, and materials technologies applied to gas turbine repair and lifecycle management. Earlier in his GE Vernova career he worked as a design engineer and repair engineer on gas turbine hot section components.
Prior to GE Vernova, Jonathan worked in data center cooling infrastructure R&D at APC (now Schneider Electric) and in thermal management R&D for semiconductor test equipment at KryoTech.
He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration.
