Brandon Ruiz is Director of Engineering for Repair and New Manufacture at Mitsubishi Power Systems Americas, leading engineering execution and technology strategy for inspection, repair, and manufacture of gas turbine components. His focus is advancing repair and refurbishment capability that improves cycle time and reduces lifecycle cost while maintaining safety, quality, and reliability.
He has nearly two decades of experience in new manufacture and repair engineering and has held leadership roles across engineering and operations. His work includes process development, training and certification, tooling modernization, and leading cost-reduction and productivity programs. In recent years, his team has deployed new technology and automation to expand factory capacity, repair capability, and operational efficiency. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
