Dr. Ramesh Subramanian is the head of Advanced Manufacturing & Raw Materials team within strategic procurement. His team is responsible for enabling the supply chain resiliency for all Siemens Energy businesses, by enabling critical raw material availability and industrial AI implementation to increase supplier capacity and throughput.
Ramesh is an industry leader with deep experience in transitioning materials and manufacturing technologies from innovation, industrialization and implementation through product validation. He was the global business development lead in the Additive Manufacturing team and spare-parts-on-demand program manager, enabling a 4X revenue increase in 5 years. As a global technology field lead, he has led a team to develop and implement advanced low thermal conductivity thermal barrier coatings for high efficiency gas turbines. He has more than 75 issued patents and recognized for his innovation as a Siemens Inventor and Siemens Top Innovator.
