Jonathan Li, who has over 20 years of experience in the Energy sector, is a Manager working on New Technology for Gas Services Business Area, Siemens Energy. After graduating from the University of Nottingham (UK) in M.Eng. Mechanical Engineering, he joined Rolls-Royce on their graduate scheme and then onto his first role as Power Plant Development Engineer based in Coventry, UK.
This was followed by relocating to Montreal, Canada as a Gas Turbine Application engineer, honing his Gas Turbine knowledge. During his time in Montreal Jonathan also gained his MBA from John Molson School of Business. Jonathan then moved to Mount Vernon, Ohio where he undertook different roles including Business Analyst, Marketing Director and Proposals Director.
Jonathan’s most recent roles for Siemens Energy Inc. (after Siemens AG acquired the Rolls-Royce Energy division) include Head of Portfolio Management, and his current role, where he leads a dedicated team focused on business innovation to create partnerships & eco-systems for the Gas Services Portfolio focused around the Gas Turbines / Steam Turbines / Generators. He is currently based in Orlando FL, and when not working, Jonathan is an avid follower of soccer (and still plays!) and motor racing.
