The purpose of this 2-day meeting is to convene the 21st Century Truck Partnership Executive Management Team (EMT) and the U.S. DRIVE Joint Operations Group (JOG) to review and discuss the strategy, plans, and operations of these two Public-Private partnerships. Through these meetings ORNL meets and maintains industry relations and needed partnerships to pursue collaborative projects to deliver S&T outcomes in order to achieve our mission of realizing solutions in energy and national security while providing economic benefit for the nation’s transportation industry and infrastructure . Further, this joint meeting provides a forum for ORNL to meet with DOE sponsors and our industry, academic and other lab partners to discuss strategy and future R&D that will be performed by ORNL to deliver DOE mission impact.
