Dr. Raffaele Santagati is a Quantum Computing Scientist at the Quantum Lab of Boehringer Ingelheim, a major German pharmaceutical company. His work focuses on the development and application of quantum algorithms and technologies to address complex computational challenges in the life sciences. By collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, he explores how quantum methods can complement classical approaches in drug discovery, and other areas critical to pharmaceutical innovation.
Prior to joining Boehringer Ingelheim, Dr. Santagati conducted research at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (Portugal), the University of Bristol (UK), where he also earned his PhD, and the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (Italy).
