This one-day, in-person workshop will bring together subject matter experts from across DOE national laboratories, industry, and standard bodies to accelerate the development, qualification, demonstration, and deployment of advanced materials and manufacturing technologies to enable reliable and economical nuclear energy. 

This yearโ€™s workshop of the Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Technologies (AMMT) program will highlight ASME code case updates, the supply chain for nuclear components, and frameworks for accelerating the qualification of new materials and manufacturing technologies for nuclear.

AMMT Industry Day will include plenary presentations, panel sessions, and will offer tours of MDF and other facilities. 


Immediately following AMMT Industry Day, plan to stay for Materials and Manufacturing Innovation Day (M2IND) on August 19โ€“20 at ORNL. 

M2IND will convene stakeholders for two days of demonstrations, facility tours, strategic discussions, and major partnership announcements. Topics will span AI-enabled manufacturing, nuclear infrastructure, accelerated qualification, needs of the industrial base, and industrial-scale energy systems to strengthen US competitiveness and supply chains.
